the new riders of purple sage,this was quite common in 1970.i think that's marmuduke singing along with the band.cliff or william tell and ghostofpig can narrow it down.i believe david nelson also joined them on songs like cold jordan etc..

Cliff could be wrong but that sounds like Dave Nelson on a Mandolin or Dobro.

Great music Cliff, but a tad too much hiss (and I'm not 100% sure there ain't a banjo sneakin into that acoustic set, though I'm willing to concede).

woah cliff, 100 points. That sound quality is b+ at best. The music is some of the best though. Its a shame we dont have a better tape of this one

just saying, it woulda been a cool rarity if jerry played the bajo for a song or two every now and then, would have added to their outstanding creativity
